【私は選ばれたメッセンジャー I Am the Chosen Messenger】

【御言葉】11 今日ダビデの町で、あなたがたのために救い主がお生まれになりました。この方こそ主キリストです。17 それを目にして羊飼いたちは、この幼子について自分たちに告げられたことを知らせた。ルカの福音書 2章 11, 17節

【観察】神はなぜ「救い主が生まれた！」という重大なメッセージを他の誰でもない羊飼い達に伝えたのだろうか。なぜ王様の書紀に伝えなかったのだろうか。注目すべきは私達は御使いが言ったことを知っていると言うことだ。それは羊飼い達が御使い達が言ったメッセージを忠実に周りの人に伝えたからである。そして、そのメッセンジャーに選ばれたのは、この世で高く見られていた王の書紀ではなく、この世で低く見られていた羊飼い達だと言うことだ。

【適用】私達もあの羊飼い達が御使いのメッセージを忠実に周りの人達に伝えたように、私達も救いのメッセージ、福音を忠実に私達の周りの人達に伝えよう！そして、その素晴らしい役割に私達が選ばれていることを喜ぼう！

【祈り】主よ、あの名もない羊飼い達が神様からのメッセージを語ったように、私もあなたの福音を忠実に語り続けることが出来ますように。🙏またこの世では低い私のような者を選び、その素晴らしい特権を与えてくださったことに感謝致します。ありがとうございます！🙏

【Scripture】11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, ”Luke 2:11, 17 NIV

【Observation】Why did God choose to convey such a momentous message—“A Savior has been born!”—to shepherds, of all people? Why didn’t He convey it through the royal annals?What is noteworthy is that we know what the angels said. This is because the shepherds faithfully relayed the angels’ message to those around them. And it is significant that the messengers chosen were not the royal court—who were held in high esteem in this world—but the shepherds, who were looked down upon.

【Application】Just as those shepherds faithfully shared the angels’ message with those around them, let us also faithfully share the message of salvation—the Gospel—with those around us!And let us rejoice that we have been chosen for this wonderful role!

【Prayer】Lord, just as those nameless shepherds proclaimed God’s message, may I also continue to faithfully proclaim Your Gospel. 🙏I also thank You for choosing someone like me—who is lowly in this world—and granting me this wonderful privilege. Thank You! 🙏
