【すべてを知っている神 God Who Knows All】

【御言葉】”王はダニエルに答えた。「あなたがこの秘密を明らかにすることができたからには、あなたがたの神こそ、神々の中の神、王たちの主、また秘密を明らかにする方であるに違いない。」”ダニエル書 2章 47節

【観察】バビロンの王ネブカドネツァルは王になった次の年、神からの夢を見た。そして、ネブカドネツァル王はバビロンの知者達を集め、自分がどんな夢を見たかを教え、その解き明かしもしろ、さもなくば殺すと。人が見た夢を分かる人などはいない。だから、ダニエルが王の夢を解き明した時、ネブカドネツァル王はダニエルの信じている神を「神々の中の神、王達の主、秘密を明らかにする方」と言ったのだ。ここに私達が信じる神様は全てを知っておられる神であることが書かれている。

【適用】私達は人間で、全てを知らない。特に一分先のことも分からない。しかし、神は違う。全てを知っているのだ。だから、すべてを知っている神に信頼しよう。

【祈り】主よ、あなたは何でも知っているお方です。これから何が起きるのか、すべてご存知です。だから、自分であれこれ悩まず、あなたに聞いて歩んでいけば良いのです。神は全てをご存知なのですから。今日もあなたを信頼いたします。🙏

【Scripture】Daniel 2:47 NIV[47] The king said to Daniel, “Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.”

【Observation】Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, had a dream from God in the year after he became king. King Nebuchadnezzar then gathered the wise men of Babylon, told them what he had dreamed, and ordered them to interpret it—or else he would have them put to death. No one can interpret a dream. That is why, when Daniel interpreted the king’s dream, King Nebuchadnezzar referred to the God in whom Daniel believed as “the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and the Revealer of secrets.” This passage tells us that the God we believe in is the God who knows all things.

【Application】We are human and do not know everything. In particular, we do not even know what will happen a minute from now. But God is different. He knows everything. Therefore, let us trust in the God who knows all things.

【Prayer】Lord, You are the One who knows everything. You know everything that is going to happen. Therefore, I don’t need to worry about this and that on my own; I just need to ask You and walk in Your ways. For You know all things. Today, too, I trust in You. 🙏
