【聖なる敬虔な生き方 A Holy and Godly Life】

【御言葉】11 このように、これらすべてのものが崩れ去るのだとすれば、あなたがたは、どれほど聖なる敬虔な生き方をしなければならないことでしょう。14 ですから、愛する者たち。これらのことを待ち望んでいるのなら、しみも傷もない者として平安のうちに神に見出していただけるように努力しなさい。ペテロの手紙第二 3章 11, 14節

【観察】神は過去に水でこの世界を滅ぼされたが、次は火でこの世界を完全に滅ぼすことが預言されている。それが終わりの時である。私達はキリストを信じた瞬間、キリストに似た者となるという聖化のプロセスがスタートする。私達は主を正しく恐れ、私達にとって相応しい聖なる敬虔な生き方をしなければならない。

【適用】私達の努力で聖なる敬虔な生き方など、そもそも出来ない。私達に内住する聖霊様の導きに従う。

【祈り】聖霊様、あなたが私の内に住んでおられ、私が間違った動機、考えを教えてくださいます。私があなたの導きに従い、聖なる敬虔な生き方が出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】2 Peter 3:11, 14 NIV[11] Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives [14] So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.

【Observation】God destroyed the world with water in the past, but it is prophesied that next He will completely destroy the world with fire. That will be the end times.The moment we believe in Christ, the process of sanctification—becoming like Christ—begins. We must fear the Lord rightly and live a holy and godly life befitting us.

【Application】We cannot possibly live a holy and godly life through our own efforts alone. We must follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit who dwells within us.

【Prayer】Holy Spirit, You dwell within me and reveal to me any wrong motives or thoughts. May I follow Your guidance and live a holy and godly life. 🙏
