【あなたの状況ではなく、変わらない神を見よ！Look Not at Your Circumstances, but at the Unchanging God!】

【御言葉】”ダニエルは、その文書に署名されたことを知って自分の家に帰った。その屋上の部屋はエルサレムの方角に窓が開いていた。彼は以前からしていたように、日に三度ひざまずき、自分の神の前に祈って感謝をささげていた。”ダニエル書 6章 10節

【観察】ダニエルはダレイオス王が金の像を拝まない者は獅子の穴に投げ込まれるという勅令を聞いた後、いつも通り、1日3回祈りを捧げた。それも神への感謝を捧げていた。はっ？自分が獅子の穴に入れられると分かった後も、変わらず、日に3回祈った。それも感謝の祈りである。ダニエルは何を見ていたのだろうか。

【適用】ダニエルは自分が置かれている状況を見ていなかった。ダニエルを見ていたのは、神であった。だから、感謝が出来たのだ。

【祈り】主よ、私はいつも自分の状況を見て、不平や不満を言っています。悔い改めます。私がどんな時にも見上げなければならないのは、いつもあなたであり、あなたに感謝することです。主よ、あなたを褒め称えます。🙏

【Scripture】“Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before. ”Daniel 6:10 NIV

【Observation】After hearing King Darius’s decree that anyone who did not worship the golden image would be thrown into the lions’ den, Daniel continued to pray three times a day as he always had. Moreover, he offered prayers of thanksgiving to God.Wait—even after realizing he himself would be thrown into the lions’ den, he continued to pray three times a day without fail. And these were prayers of thanksgiving. What was Daniel focusing on?

【Application】Daniel wasn’t looking at his circumstances. It was God whom Daniel was looking to. That is why he was able to give thanks.

【Prayer】Lord, I always look at my own circumstances and complain and grumble. I repent. No matter what happens, I must always look up to You and give You thanks. Lord, I praise You. 🙏
