【誰のために For Whom?】

【御言葉】9 彼らは新しい歌を歌った。「あなたは、巻物を受け取り、封印を解くのにふさわしい方です。あなたは屠られて、すべての部族、言語、民族、国民の中から、あなたの血によって人々を神のために贖い、ヨハネの黙示録 5章 9節

【観察】イエス様はすべての部族、言語、民族、国民の中から、ご自分の血によって人々を贖った。誰のために？私達は「それは私達の救いのためだ」と言う。確かにその一面はある。しかし、9節にイエス様が私達を贖ったのは、天の父のためだったと書いてある。イエス様にとって、第1は天の父であり、私達はその次なのだ。そして、私達も神が第1で、人は第2でなければならない。

【適用】まず第1に神を愛すること。

【祈り】主よ、私は時々、順番を間違え、人を第1に愛してしまうことがあります。そんな時は必ず自分を愛している時です。他人には人を愛しているように見えても、本当のところは自分を愛しているのです。赦してください。それはあなたが望んでいることではありません。主よ、私がイエス様のように、いつもあなたを第1に愛することが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】Revelation 5:9 NIV[9] And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.

【Observation】Jesus redeemed people from every tribe, language, people, and nation with His own blood. For whom?We say, “It was for our salvation.” Certainly, that is one aspect of it. However, verse 9 states that Jesus redeemed us for the sake of the Father in heaven. For Jesus, the Father in heaven comes first, and we come second. Likewise, for me, God must come first, and people second.

【Application】First and foremost, love God.

【Prayer】Lord, sometimes I get the order wrong and end up loving people first. When that happens, it’s always because I’m actually loving myself. Even if it looks to others like I’m loving them, in reality, I’m loving myself. Please forgive me. That is not what You desire.Lord, may I always love You first, just as Jesus did. 🙏
