【わたしがあなたを愛したように As I Have Loved You】

【御言葉】わたしはあなたがたに新しい戒めを与えます。互いに愛し合いなさい。わたしがあなたがたを愛したように、あなたがたも互いに愛し合いなさい。ヨハネの福音書 13章 34節

【観察】我らの神であるイエス様は言われる。わたしがあなたを無条件で愛したように、あなたがたも無条件で互いに愛し合いなさいと。「わたしがあなたを愛したように」が鍵だ。イエス様がどれだけ私を愛しているのか？もし私がキリストの愛を無条件だと本当の意味で理解しているなら、私は無条件に他の人を愛せるはずである。しかし、私がキリストの愛が条件付きであると信じているなら、私は条件付きで人を愛すだろう。このことから、私のイエス様の愛の理解度は条件付きであることが分かる。

【適用】イエス様の愛は私の行いに関係なく、本当に無条件であることを知る。

【祈り】主よ、あなたの愛は無条件です。しかし、私は本当にそれを信じているのでしょうか。私のあなたの愛の理解度は、自分が良いことをすれば愛され、悪いことをすれば拒絶されるという条件付きです。私の理解度は全く無条件の愛とは程遠いのです。主よ、頭ではなく、心で、あなたの愛がどれ程のものであるのかを知ることが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】John 13:34 NIV[34] “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

【Observation】Jesus, our God, says: “Just as I have loved you unconditionally, you also must love one another unconditionally.” “Just as I have loved you” is the key.How much does Jesus love me? If I truly understand that Christ’s love is unconditional, then I should be able to love others unconditionally. However, if I believe that Christ’s love is conditional, then I will love others conditionally. From this, I can see that my understanding of Jesus’ love is conditional.

【Application】I recognize that Jesus’ love is truly unconditional, regardless of my actions.

【Prayer】Lord, Your love is unconditional. But do I truly believe that?My understanding of Your love is conditional—that I will be loved if I do good things and rejected if I do bad things. My understanding is far from truly unconditional love.Lord, please help me to know the depth of Your love not with my head, but with my heart. 🙏
