【喜びが伴う信仰 Faith Accompanied by Joy】

【御言葉】8 あなたがたはイエス・キリストを見たことはないけれども愛しており、今見てはいないけれども信じており、ことばに尽くせない、栄えに満ちた喜びに躍っています。9 あなたがたが、信仰の結果であるたましいの救いを得ているからです。ペテロの手紙第一 1章 8〜9節

【観察】私に信仰があるかどうか、どのように見分けるのだろうか。それは私の中に喜びがあるかどうかだ。もし私が今死んでも必ず自分は天国へ行ける揺るがない確信を持っているなら、私は救われるという喜びがある。信仰は喜びを伴うのだ。

【適用】私の中の喜びを見て、自分の信仰を吟味する。もし自分の中に喜びがないのなら、信仰がないと判断する。

【祈り】主よ、人生の中で何かが起きると喜びがなくなる時があります。そんな時、いつもあなたの約束に目を向け、自分の救いを見て、喜ぶことが出来ますように。この世の喜びは留まらず、一瞬で過ぎ去ります。しかし、あなたの救いの喜びは何ものにも変えられない喜びです。主よ、今日もあなたに感謝します。🙏

【Scripture】1 Peter 1:8-9 NIV[8] Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, [9] for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

【Observation】How can I tell if I have faith? It depends on whether I have joy within me.If I have an unshakable conviction that I will surely go to heaven even if I were to die right now, then I have the joy of knowing I am saved. Faith is accompanied by joy.

【Application】I examine my faith by looking at the joy within me. If I find no joy within myself, I conclude that I lack faith.

【Prayer】Lord, there are times in life when something happens and my joy disappears. In such moments, may I always fix my eyes on Your promises, see my salvation, and rejoice.The joys of this world are fleeting and pass in an instant. But the joy of Your salvation is a joy that nothing can replace. Lord, I thank You again today. 🙏
