【怠惰の領域はあるか？ Is There Such a Thing as a “Zone of Laziness”?】

【御言葉】9 私たちに権利がなかったからではなく、あなたがたが私たちを見習うように、身をもって模範を示すためでした。10 あなたがたのところにいたとき、働きたくない者は食べるな、と私たちは命じました。11 ところが、あなたがたの中には、怠惰な歩みをしている人たち、何も仕事をせずにおせっかいばかり焼いている人たちがいると聞いています。テサロニケ人への手紙第二 3章 9〜11節

【観察】パウロはみんなが見習うように模範を示し、自ら昼も夜も働いた。そして、働きたくないなら、食べるなと教えた。そんなパウロが指導した教会でも、働かずに人のことをことを世話しようとしていた人達がいたのは驚きだ。働かない人達のため、誰かが負担を強いられていた。私は自分の怠惰で誰かに負担を強いている領域はないだろうか？

【適用】私は自分の家のことに関して怠惰であり、妻に負担を強いていた。悔い改め、家のリーダーとして、模範を示す。

【祈り】主よ、私は教会では模範を示せていても、家で模範を示せていないなら、それは本物ではありません。私は家のことに関して怠惰であり、妻に負担をかけていました。赦してください。これからは家のリーダーとして、率先して、家のことをします。🙏

【Scripture】2 Thessalonians 3:9-11 NIV[9] We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate. [10] For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” [11] We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies.

【Observation】Paul set an example for everyone to follow, working day and night himself. He taught that if you don’t want to work, you shouldn’t eat. It is surprising that even in the church Paul led, there were people who tried to take care of others without working.Someone was being forced to bear the burden for those who did not work. Are there areas in my life where my laziness is placing a burden on someone else?

【Application】I have been lazy regarding my household duties and have placed a burden on my wife. I repent and, as the head of my household, will set an example.

【Prayer】Lord, if I am setting an example in church but not at home, then it is not genuine. I have been lazy regarding my household duties and have placed a burden on my wife. Please forgive me. From now on, as the head of my household, I will take the lead and handle our household responsibilities. 🙏
