【神様が呼ばれた方向を見続けよ！Keep Your Eyes Fixed on the Direction God Is Calling You!】

【御言葉】すると、イエスは彼に言われた。「鋤に手をかけてからうしろを見る者はだれも、神の国にふさわしくありません。」ルカの福音書 9章 62節

【観察】鋤とは畑を耕す道具であり、鋤に手をかけるとは、これから畑を耕そうと前を向いている状態のことだ。そんな時、後ろを見る必要はどこにもない。それと同じようにイエス様に従うと決めたなら、神様が呼ばれた方向を見続けることがとても大切なのだ。

【適用】もし私が畑を耕すため、鋤に手をかけてから、他のことに目を向け、自分が喜ぶことを選ぶなら、畑を耕すことは出来ない。それは仕事をサボって、遊んでいることと同じだ。それは畑を耕す者として相応しくない状態である。私はイエス様に従うと決めたのだから、神様が呼ばれた働きに戻り、神様に呼ばれた方向を見続けること。

【祈り】主よ、私はあなたを信じた時、あなたに従って行くことを決めました。しかし、私は何度も何度もあなたから目を離し、自分のしたいことをして、あなたの働きをサボったことがあります。今一度、私の心をあなたに向けます。他のものに目を向けず、あなたが呼ばれた働きに従い続けることが出来ますように。迷いやすい私を導いてください。🙏

【Scripture】“Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.””Luke 9:62 NIV

【Observation】A plow is a tool used to till a field, and “to put one’s hand to the plow” means being focused forward, ready to begin tilling the field. At such a time, there is absolutely no need to look back. In the same way, if I have decided to follow Jesus, it is very important to keep my eyes fixed on the direction God is calling me.

【Application】If I place my hand on the plow to till the field but then turn my attention to other things and choose to do what pleases me, I will not be able to till the field. That is the same as shirking my work and playing around. It is a state unworthy of one who is tilling the field. Since I have decided to follow Jesus, I must return to the work God has called me to and keep my eyes fixed on the direction God has called me to go.

【Prayer】Lord, when I believed in You, I decided to follow You. Yet time and time again, I have taken my eyes off You, done what I wanted to do, and neglected Your work. Once again, I turn my heart toward You. May I not turn my attention to other things, but continue to follow the work to which You have called me. Please guide me, for I am prone to wandering. 🙏
