【主の背中で安らぐ Resting on the Lord’s Back】

【御言葉】3 ヤコブの家よ、わたしに聞け。イスラエルの家のすべての残りの者よ。胎内にいたときから担がれ、生まれる前から運ばれた者よ。4 あなたがたが年をとっても、わたしは同じようにする。あなたがたが白髪になっても、わたしは背負う。わたしはそうしてきたのだ。わたしは運ぶ。背負って救い出す。イザヤ書 46章 3〜4節

【観察】あなたは生まれる前から背負われ、白髪になっても背負うと主は言われる。これはどういう意味なのか？私達が生まれる前から、主が私達の人生を歩んでくださるということ。では私達が出来る最善は何か。それは主に信頼し、主の背中でおとなしくしていることだ。しかし、動かないことが私には一番難しい。それほど、私が肉の力で動いていることを証明している。

【適用】主に信頼し、主の背中で安らぐことを学ぶ。

【祈り】主よ、私はあなたに背負われ、歩んできました。それをまるで自分の力で歩んできたと思ってきた高慢を赦してください。主よ、あなたを信頼し、あなたの背中の上で安らぎ、あなたの平安を楽しむことが出来ますように。あなたを信頼します。🙏

【Scripture】Isaiah 46:3-4 NIV[3] “Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob, all the remnant of the people of Israel, you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. [4] Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

【Observation】The Lord says, “You have been carried since before you were born, and I will carry you even when your hair turns white.” What does this mean?It means that even before we were born, the Lord has been walking the path of our lives for us. So, what is the best thing we can do? It is to trust in the Lord and rest quietly on His back.However, staying still is the hardest thing for me. This proves just how much I am relying on my own fleshly strength.

【Application】Learn to trust in the Lord and find rest on His back.

【Prayer】Lord, I have walked carried by You. Please forgive my pride for thinking I had walked on my own strength.Lord, may I trust in You, find rest on Your back, and taste Your peace. I trust in You. 🙏
