【神との関係から From Our Relationship with God】

【御言葉】”わたしが喜びとするのは真実の愛。いけにえではない。全焼のささげ物よりむしろ、神を知ることである。”ホセア書 6章 6節

【観察】神が喜ばれるのは、いけにえではなく、真実の愛。捧げ物より、神を知ること。神は私達が何かを神に与えること、神への奉仕より、私達との関係を求めている。私達はどのように神を知るのか？それは聖書を読み、神と時間を過ごし、祈ることである。私達は神の愛を受け、私達はその神を愛す関係を神は求めている。

【適用】私は神との関係より、神に仕えることを優先していなかっただろうか。神様は私のいけにえ、献身的奉仕よりも、私との関係を求めている。だから、私も神への奉仕より、神との関係を求めよう。

【祈り】主よ、あなたは関係の神です。あなたは私があなたのために何かをすることを求めてはいません。あなたとの関係を楽しみ、私があなたを知り、あなたに私を知ってもらうことを求めています。そして、その愛に動機付けられた愛の行いをあなたは求めています。私の行いが全てあなたとの関係によって、動機付けられますように。🙏

【Scripture】Hosea 6:6 NIV[6] For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.

【Observation】What pleases God is not sacrifice, but true love. It is knowing God rather than offering sacrifices. God seeks a relationship with us more than He seeks what we give Him or our service to Him. How do we come to know God? It is by reading the Bible, spending time with Him, and praying. God desires a relationship in which we receive His love and love Him in return.

【Application】Have I been prioritizing serving God over my relationship with Him? God seeks a relationship with me more than He seeks my sacrifices or devoted service. Therefore, I will seek a relationship with God rather than just serving Him.

【Prayer】Lord, You are a God of relationship. You do not ask me to do things for You. You want me to enjoy our relationship, to know You, and for You to know me. And You desire acts of love motivated by that love. May all my actions be motivated by my relationship with You. 🙏
