【裁かず、憐れむ大祭司 The High Priest Who Does Not Judge, But Has Compassion】

【御言葉】15 私たちの大祭司は、私たちの弱さに同情できない方ではありません。罪は犯しませんでしたが、すべての点において、私たちと同じように試みにあわれたのです。16 ですから私たちは、あわれみを受け、また恵みをいただいて、折にかなった助けを受けるために、大胆に恵みの御座に近づこうではありませんか。ヘブル人への手紙 4章 15〜16節

【観察】普通、自分が出来ていると、出来ていない人を裁くものである。しかし、イエス様は違った。私達と同じように試みられ、イエス様は罪を犯さず、私達は罪を犯した。罪を犯した時、普通中々神様のところに行けない。なぜなら、裁かれると思うからだ。しかし、イエス様は私達を裁かず、同情し、憐れまれる大祭司なのだ。だから、私達は折にかなった助けを受けるため、イエス様の元に行こう。

【適用】今日も折にかなった助けをもらうため、イエス様のところに大胆に行く。

【祈り】主よ、私は罪を犯します。しかし、あなたは罪を犯した私を裁かず、憐れんでくださるお方です。あなたの元に行きます。あなたは私の罪を赦し、私を受け入れてくださり、愛してくださっていることを感謝します。罪を犯した時、直ぐにあなたの元に行くことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】Hebrews 4:15-16 NIV[15] For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. [16] Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

【Observation】Normally, when we think we’re doing well, we tend to judge those who aren’t. But Jesus was different. He was tempted just as we are—yet He did not sin, while we have sinned. When we sin, we usually find it hard to go to God because we think we’ll be judged. But Jesus is a High Priest who does not judge us; instead, He sympathizes with us and has compassion on us. Therefore, let us go to Jesus to receive help that is just in time.

【Application】Today, too, I will boldly go to Jesus to receive help that is just in time.

【Prayer】Lord, I sin. But You are the One who does not judge me for my sins but has compassion on me. I come to You. I am grateful that You forgive my sins, accept me, and love me. May I come to You immediately whenever I sin. 🙏
