【自分の務めを果たせ！ Fulfill Your Duty!】

【御言葉】4 真理から耳を背け、作り話にそれて行くような時代になるからです。5 けれども、あなたはどんな場合にも慎んで、苦難に耐え、伝道者の働きをなし、自分の務めを十分に果たしなさい。テモテへの手紙第二 4章 4〜5節

【観察】耳触りの良いことだけを聞きたいと願い、真理から耳を背ける時代になっていくと聖書は預言している。私達は既にその時代に生きているのではないか。確かに今は神の愛、赦し、憐れみが強調され、日曜礼拝で最後の審判、永遠の死、地獄のことはほとんど語られない。聖書の真理はいつの時代であっても、変わらない。だから、私は神の真理を語る者として、自分の務めを果たさなければならない。

【適用】愛をもって、真理を語る。

【祈り】主よ、私は人を恐れ、人々が受け入れやすいことを語っているように感じます。悔い改めます。人ではなく、あなたを恐れ、あなたが望んでいること、あなたの真理を大胆に語ることが出来ますように。自分の務めをしっかりと果たすことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】2 Timothy 4:4-5 NIV[4] They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. [5] But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

【Observation】The Bible prophesies that a time is coming when people will want to hear only what sounds good and will turn away from the truth. Are we not already living in that time? Indeed, today God’s love, forgiveness, and mercy are emphasized, while the Last Judgment, eternal death, and hell are rarely mentioned in Sunday services. The truth of the Bible remains unchanged in any age. Therefore, as one who proclaims God’s truth, I must fulfill my duty.

【Application】Speak the truth with love.

【Prayer】Lord, I feel that I am afraid of people and tend to speak only what is easy for them to accept. I repent. May I fear You, not people, and may I boldly speak what You desire and Your truth. May I faithfully fulfill my duty. 🙏
