【確かな救い Certain Salvation】

【御言葉】8 しかし、私たちがまだ罪人であったとき、キリストが私たちのために死なれたことによって、神は私たちに対するご自分の愛を明らかにしておられます。9 ですから、今、キリストの血によって義と認められた私たちが、この方によって神の怒りから救われるのは、なおいっそう確かなことです。10 敵であった私たちが、御子の死によって神と和解させていただいたのなら、和解させていただいた私たちが、御子のいのちによって救われるのは、なおいっそう確かなことです。ローマ人への手紙 5章 8〜10節

【観察】私達がまだ罪人で神の敵であった時、キリストは私達のために死なれた。誰が敵のために死ぬのだろうか？私達は愛する者のために死ぬことさえ躊躇するのに。この神の愛がどれ程なのか私達は知らない。また敵であった私達の罪に対し、天の父の怒りがどれ程大きなものであったのかも知らない。またその天の父の大きな怒りを鎮めたキリストが流された尊い血も知らない。もし神の愛、天の父の怒り、神と和解させたキリストの血がどれ程のものなのかを知っていたら、私達の救いへの確信は揺らぐことはないだろう。

【適用】神の愛、天の父の怒り、神と和解させたキリストの血がどれ程のものなのかを知る。

【祈り】主よ、私の頭も心も固くて、分からないのです。主よ、あなたがどれ程愛してくださっているのか、天の父の怒りがどれ程大きなものだったのか、そしてキリストの血がその怒りを鎮め、私達と神を和解してくれたのか、啓示を与えてください。私がもっとそれらを知り、感謝することが出来ますように。またそれらを知ることにより、救いの確信が更に強められますように。🙏

【Scripture】Romans 5:8-10 NIV[8] But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! [10] For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

【Observation】While we were still sinners and enemies of God, Christ died for us. Who would die for their enemies? We hesitate even to die for those we love. We do not know the depth of this love of God.Nor do we know how great the wrath of our heavenly Father was against our sins when we were His enemies. Nor do we know the precious blood that Christ shed to appease that great wrath of our heavenly Father.If we knew the true extent of God’s love, the Heavenly Father’s wrath, and the blood of Christ that reconciled us to God, our assurance of salvation would never waver.

【Application】To know the true extent of God’s love, the Heavenly Father’s wrath, and the blood of Christ that reconciled us to God.

【Prayer】Lord, my mind and heart are hardened, and I do not understand.Lord, please reveal to me how much You love me, how great the Heavenly Father’s wrath was, and how Christ’s blood appeased that wrath and reconciled us to God. May I come to know these things more deeply and give thanks for them. May knowing these things further strengthen my assurance of salvation. 🙏
