【知恵よりもあなたを慕い求める心を A Heart That Seeks You Rather Than Wisdom】

【御言葉】9 主はソロモンに怒りを発せられた。それは彼の心がイスラエルの神、主から離れたからである。主が二度も彼に現れ、10 このことについて、ほかの神々に従っていってはならないと命じておられたのに、彼が主の命令を守らなかったのである。列王記第一 11章 9〜10節

【観察】ソロモン王は知恵があった。しかし、2度も主が警告したのに神に立ち返らなかった。彼の心が神様から離れていたからだ。もしかしたら、ソロモン王が神に求めるべきだったのは知恵ではなく、神を慕い求める心ではなかったか。

【適用】神から離れないよう、自分の心をいつもチェックし、神を慕い求める心を求める。

【祈り】主よ、知恵は私が神様に近くことを助けてくれません。聖霊様、私の心を見てください。私の中にあなたから離すものがあるのなら、示してください。そして、私にあなたを慕い求める心を与えてください。🙏

【Scripture】1 Kings 11:9-10 NIV[9] The Lord became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice. [10] Although he had forbidden Solomon to follow other gods, Solomon did not keep the Lord’s command.

【Observation】King Solomon had wisdom. However, even though the Lord warned him twice, he did not return to God. This was because his heart had strayed from God. Perhaps what King Solomon should have sought from God was not wisdom, but a heart that longs for Him.

【Application】I will constantly examine my heart to ensure I do not stray from God, and I will seek a heart that longs for Him.

【Prayer】Lord, wisdom alone does not help me draw near to You. Holy Spirit, look into my heart. If there is anything within me that separates me from You, please reveal it to me. And please give me a heart that longs for You. 🙏
