【正しいと認められるのは行いではなく、信じること It Is Not good Works That Justify, But Faith】

【御言葉】
19 彼は、およそ百歳になり、自分のからだがすでに死んだも同然であること、またサラの胎が死んでいることを認めても、その信仰は弱まりませんでした。
20 不信仰になって神の約束を疑うようなことはなく、かえって信仰が強められて、神に栄光を帰し、
21 神には約束したことを実行する力がある、と確信していました。
ローマ人への手紙 4章 19〜21節

【観察】
アブラハムもサラも、子どもを授かることは100％不可能だった。人間的に見れば不可能なことも、アブラハムは神が言われたのなら、それは必ず起こると信じた。それによって神様から「あなたは正しい」と言われた。神様の言っていることを信じたので、義と認められた。アブラハムの良い行いではない。
私が「あなたの言っていることが正しく、私は間違っています。」と言えば、神は言われる。「あなたは正しい！」と。

【適用】
神様が言われていることを素直に、子どものように信じる。

【祈り】
主よ、あなたを信じます。あなたの言われたことを信じます。不可能だと思うのは、私の不信仰です。
主よ、私もアブラハムのように、不可能と思える時、いつもあなたに信頼し、あなたを信じ、歩むことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】
Romans 4:19-21 NIV
[19] Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. [20] Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, [21] being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

【Observation】
For both Abraham and Sarah, having a child was 100% impossible. Even though it seemed impossible from a human perspective, Abraham believed that if God had said it, it would surely happen. Because of this, God declared to him, “You are righteous.” He was declared righteous because he believed what God said—not because of his own good deeds.
If I were to say, “What you are saying is right, and I am wrong,” God would say to me, “You are righteous!”

【Application】
Believe what God says with a childlike, open heart.

【Prayer】
Lord, I believe in You. I believe what You have said. Thinking something is impossible is a sign of my unbelief.
Lord, just as Abraham did, may I always trust in You, believe in You, and walk with You, even when things seem impossible. 🙏
