【御心にかなう願い A Request That Pleased the Lord】

【御言葉】10 これは主のみこころにかなった。ソロモンがこのことを願ったからである。11 神は彼に仰せられた。「あなたがこのことを願い、自分のために長寿を願わず、自分のために富を願わず、あなたの敵のいのちさえ願わず、むしろ、自分のために正しい訴えを聞き分ける判断力を願ったので、列王記第一 3章 10〜11節

【観察】ソロモンの願ったことは主の御心にかなった。それはソロモンが自分より、民のために知恵を求めたからだ。私達はどうしても「自分、自分」と自分の必要を求めてしまう。つまり、自己中心なのだ。しかし、神の御心にかなった求めは、その求めが与えられるだけでなく、それ以上のことが与えられると言うことだ。

【適用】求めても与えられない自己中心的な祈りをやめ、神の御心にかなったことを求める。

【祈り】主よ、私の求め、私の祈りは自己中心的でした。悔い改めます。あなたは私以上に私の必要をご存知です。ですから、あなたの御心が何であるかを教えてください。私の願いではなく、あなたの願いに私の心が同期し、連動しますように。🙏

【Scripture】1 Kings 3:10-11 NIV[10] The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this. [11] So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice,

【Observation】What Solomon asked for was pleasing to the Lord. This was because Solomon sought wisdom for the people rather than for himself. We tend to focus on “me, me!” and seek only our own needs. In other words, we are self-centered.However, a request that is pleasing to God means that not only will that request be granted, but even more than that will be given.

【Application】Let me stop praying self-centered prayers that go unanswered, and instead seek what is pleasing to God.

【Prayer】Lord, my requests and my prayers have been self-centered. I repent. You know my needs better than me. Therefore, please show me what Your will is. May my heart be in sync with Your will, not my own desires. 🙏
