【いのちに至る門と道、イエスキリスト The Gate and Path to Life: Jesus Christ】

【御言葉】13 狭い門から入りなさい。滅びに至る門は大きく、その道は広く、そこから入って行く者が多いのです。14 いのちに至る門はなんと狭く、その道もなんと細いことでしょう。そして、それを見出す者はわずかです。マタイの福音書 7章 13〜14節

【観察】ここに2つの種類の門と道が出てくる。「滅びに至る大きい門と広い道」と「いのちに至る狭い門と細い道」だ。加えて、その細い道は見つけるのにも苦労する程、細い道なのだとイエス様は言われる。つまり、滅びる人達に比べて、救われる人は圧倒的に少ないことが分かる。天の父はすべての人達が滅んでほしくないと願っているのに、救われる人は少ない。それは福音を聞いても、いのちに至る門であり、いのちに至る道であるイエスキリストを拒絶する人達が多いからだ。しかし、いのちに至る門がどんなに狭くとも、いのちに至る道がどんなに細くても、私達には救いの道が用意されていることを喜ぼう！。いのちに至る門であり、道であるイエス様を喜ぼう！

【適用】とにかく自分の地上の人生が終わるまで、人達にイエスキリストを伝え続ける。

【祈り】主よ、人は滅びに至るか、いのちに至るか、そのどちらかです。主よ、残念なことにイエス様を拒絶し、滅びを選ぶ人達が圧倒的に多いのです。しかし、主よ、私達にはどんなに狭くても、どんなに細くとも、救いの道が用意されていることに感謝します。私のこの地上の役割は生きている間、あなたを知らない人達にあなたのことを伝えることです。そして、あなたが人を救ってくださいます。多くの人達がいのち（キリスト）を見出すことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】Matthew 7:13-14 NIV[13] “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. [14] But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

【Observation】Two kinds of gates and paths are presented here: “the wide gate and broad road leading to destruction” and “the narrow gate and narrow path leading to life.” Furthermore, Jesus tells us that this narrow path is so narrow that it is difficult even to find. In other words, we can see that the number of those who are saved is overwhelmingly smaller than the number of those who perish.Although our Heavenly Father does not want anyone to perish, few are saved. This is because, even after hearing the Gospel, many people reject Jesus Christ, who is the gate and the way to life.However, no matter how narrow the gate to life, no matter how narrow the way to life, let us rejoice that the way of salvation has been prepared for us!Let us rejoice in Jesus, who is the gate and the way to life!

【Application】No matter what, I will continue to share Jesus Christ with others until my life on earth comes to an end.

【Prayer】Lord, people will either face destruction or find life—it is one or the other. Lord, sadly, the overwhelming majority of people reject Jesus and choose destruction.But Lord, I thank You that a path to salvation has been prepared for us, no matter how narrow or how small it may be. My role on this earth is to share You with those who do not know You while I am alive. And You will save them. May many people find life (Christ). 🙏
