【天の父のように Like Our Father in Heaven】

【御言葉】”ですから、あなたがたの天の父が完全であるように、完全でありなさい。”マタイの福音書 5章 48節

【観察】ここで言っている「完全」は完璧、全くミスがないという意味ではなく、目的に達している、成熟している、全体として欠けがないという意味だそうだ。好きな人だけ愛するのは未熟であり、神を知らない人もやっている。天の父は敵をも愛する神だから、あなたも天の父のように敵をも愛す成熟した愛を持つ者になれということだろう。しかし、私は嫌なのだ。自分の敵と思える人を愛したくないし、むしろその人の不幸を願っている。愛する人さえ愛せないのに、敵を愛するなど絶対に無理！しかし、私は知っている。その敵と思える人を愛す前に、その人を赦さなければならないことを。😭

【適用】その人を赦し、愛すること、祝福することを選ぶ。

【祈り】主よ〜、　あなたはご存知でしょう。私がどんな目にあってきたか。しかし、私もあなたから多く赦された者です。嫌だけど、あなたに従い、赦します。その人があなたから祝福されますように。またその人をあなたの愛で愛することを選びます。私を天の父のように敵をも愛す成熟した愛を持つ者になれますように。🙏

【Scripture】Matthew 5:48 NIV[48] Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

【Observation】It seems that the word ‘perfect’ used here does not mean flawless or entirely without error, but rather that one has achieved one’s purpose, is mature, and is complete in every respect.Loving only those we like is immature; even those who do not know God do that. Since our Heavenly Father is a God who loves even His enemies, I suppose the message is that we too should become people with a mature love that loves our enemies, just as our Heavenly Father does.But I hate it. I do not want to love those I perceive as my enemies; rather, I wish for their misfortune. I cannot even love those I care for, so loving my enemies is absolutely impossible!Yet I knew this: before I can love those I perceive as enemies, I must first forgive them.😭

【Application】I choose to forgive that person, to love them, and to bless them.

【Prayer】Lord, you know what I have been through. Yet I am one who has been forgiven much by you. Though I dislike it, I will obey you and forgive them. May that person be blessed by you. I also choose to love them with your love. May I become a person who possesses a mature love capable of loving even my enemies, just as the Heavenly Father does. 🙏
