【あなたの賜物を神が用い、神が勝利する！ God Will Use Your Gifts, and God Will Triumph!】

【御言葉】45 ダビデはペリシテ人に言った。「おまえは、剣と槍と投げ槍を持って私に向かって来るが、私は、おまえがそしったイスラエルの戦陣の神、万軍の主の御名によって、おまえに立ち向かう。47 ここに集まっているすべての者も、剣や槍がなくても、主が救いをもたらすことを知るだろう。この戦いは主の戦いだ。主は、おまえたちをわれわれの手に渡される。」サムエル記第一 17章 45, 47節
【観察】この世の戦いは剣や槍という武器を使って戦う。もしダビデがサウルから借りた鎧や剣で戦っていたのなら、直ぐに負けていたことだろう。しかし、主の戦いは違う。私達は主の御名によって、既に主に与えられたもので敵に立ち向かうのだ。ダビデは投石だった。ある人にとっては歌かもしれないし、ある人にとってはペンかもしれない。自分に与えられたものを持って、主のために戦う。私達の主は私達が差し出したものを用いて、戦いに勝つ神なのだ。
【適用】私はパーティーなどで、その場を盛り上げる賜物がある。これも主のために捧げよう。主が教会の士気を高めることに、それを用いてくださるかもしれないから。
【祈り】主よ、ダビデのように、あなたのことを馬鹿にされたら、烈火のごとく怒るほどのあなたへの愛を与えてください。あなたへの愛がなければ、すべてが空しいです。あなたへの愛を増し加えてください。またあなたが与えてくださった賜物をあなたにお返し致します。あなたがそれを用いて、あなたの目的が達成されますように。🙏
【Scripture】1 Samuel 17:45, 47 NIV[45] David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. [47] All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”
【Observation】The battles of this world are fought with weapons like swords and spears. If David had fought in the armor and with the sword he borrowed from Saul, he would have been defeated immediately.But the Lord’s battles are different. We face our enemies in the name of the Lord, using what He has already given us. For David, it was a sling. For some, it might be singing; for others, it might be a pen. We fight for the Lord using what has been given to us. Our Lord is the God who wins battles by using what we offer Him.
【Application】I have a gift for livening up the atmosphere at parties and gatherings. Let’s offer this to the Lord as well. Perhaps He will use it to lift the spirits of the church.
【Prayer】Lord, grant me a love for You so deep that, like David, I will burn with rage if You are mocked. Without love for You, everything is meaningless. Please increase my love for You.I also return to You the gifts You have given me. May You use them to fulfill Your purposes. 🙏
