【神から与えられているものを使おう！Let’s Use What God Has Given Us!】

【御言葉】すると、悪霊が彼らに答えた。「イエスのことは知っているし、パウロのこともよく知っている。しかし、おまえたちは何者だ。」使徒の働き 19章 15節

【観察】今日はこの悪霊が言ったことが気になった。悪霊はイエス様のことも知っていたし、パウロのことも知っていた。悪霊はイエス様を信じている人達を良く知っていた。なぜなら、悪霊にとって、恐れるべき存在だったからだ。しかし、悪霊はユダヤ人祭司長スケワの七人の息子達のことは知らなかった。確かにその息子達はイエス様の名を使って、悪霊を追い出そうとした。神への信仰がなければ、それは言葉だけで全く意味がないことが分かる。しかし、神への信仰が、関係がある時、それは神の権威となり、神の力となり、悪霊達は従うしかない。

【適用】神を信じる私達には神の権威によって、悪霊を追い出すことが出来る。

【祈り】主よ、私達クリスチャンには悪霊を追い出す権威と力があなたから与えられていることを感謝します。私達が信仰をもって、その与えられたものを使っていくことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】“One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” ”Acts 19:15 NIV

【Observation】Today, I was struck by what this evil spirit said. The evil spirit knew about Jesus, and it knew Paul very well. The evil spirit was well acquainted with those who believed in Jesus. That’s because, to the evil spirit, they were beings to be feared.However, the demon did not know the seven sons of Sceva, the Jewish high priest. Indeed, those sons tried to cast out the demon using the name of Jesus. We can see that without faith in God, such attempts are merely words and completely meaningless.But when faith in God is present, it becomes God’s authority and God’s power, and the demons have no choice but to obey.

【Application】As believers in God, we can cast out demons by God’s authority.

【Prayer】Lord, we thank You that You have given us Christians the authority and power to cast out demons. May we use what You have given us with faith. 🙏
