【隔ての壁はなくなった！The Wall of Separation Has Been Torn Down!】

【御言葉】太陽は光を失っていた。すると神殿の幕が真ん中から裂けた。ルカの福音書 23章 45節

【観察】イエス様が天に召される時、神殿の幕が真ん中から裂けた。これはどういう意味があるのだろうか。その幕は手の幅ほどの厚みがあったという言い伝えがあるが、それは定かではない。ただ言えることは、薄い幕ではなく、しっかりした作りの物で、人の力で裂くことは不可能な物だった。また幕は聖所と至聖所を分けていた。至聖所とは神が臨在する場所である。その幕が裂けたとはどういう意味なのか。それはイエス様の死によって、私達はいつでも神の臨在の中に入っていける、つまりイエス様によって、私達と神様の間には壁がなくなったことを意味している。

【適用】だから、私達は大胆に神の御前に出て、神様に求めよう。

【祈り】主よ、あなたの死によって、私達とあなたの間の隔ての壁がなくなったことを感謝します。あなたのお陰で、自由に天の父とアクセスできるようになったことを感謝します。主よ、あなたによって隔ての壁がなくなっているのに、私は大胆にあなたの御前に出て行っていません。あなたに対する飢え渇きがないのです。主よ、今一度、私に触れてくださり、あなたを求める者と変えてください。🙏

【Scripture】“for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. ”Luke 23:45 NIV

【Observation】When Jesus was taken up into heaven, the curtain of the temple was torn in two. What does this mean? Tradition holds that the curtain was about a hand’s width thick, though this is not certain. What we can say for sure is that it was not a thin curtain, but a sturdy structure that could not be torn by human strength. Furthermore, the curtain separated the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place. The Most Holy Place is where God dwells. What does it mean that this curtain was torn? It means that through Jesus’ death, we can now enter into God’s presence at any time—in other words, through Jesus, the wall between us and God has been torn down.

【Application】Therefore, let us approach God’s throne with confidence and make our requests to Him.

【Prayer】Lord, I thank You that through Your death, the dividing wall between us and You has been torn down. I thank You that, because of You, I now have free access to our Heavenly Father. Lord, even though the dividing wall has been removed through You, I have not been coming boldly before You. I lack a hunger and thirst for You. Lord, please touch me once again and transform me into someone who seeks You. 🙏
