【迫害に備えよ！Prepare for Persecution!】

【御言葉】”すると、彼ら一人ひとりに白い衣が与えられた。そして、彼らのしもべ仲間で、彼らと同じように殺されようとしている兄弟たちの数が満ちるまで、もうしばらくの間、休んでいるように言い渡された。”ヨハネの黙示録 6章 11節

【観察】世界にはキリストを信じているがゆえに迫害にあい、殉教する人達がいる。そして、これから全世界に及ぶ大迫害が世の終わりに来ると預言されている。だから、迫害は必ず来る。そして、死に至るまで信仰を守る者には白い衣が与えられる。殉教は祝福なのだ。自分の熱心さなど、迫害が望めば、吹っ飛ぶ。迫害が望む時、私の信仰が本物かどうか試される。自分に死が望む時、自分の信仰を守り続けることが出来るだろうか？それは今の主との関係にかかっている。今、主との揺るがない関係がなければ、簡単に主の御名を否んでしまうだろう。

【適用】自分のいのちより、神を大切にする。

【祈り】主よ、あなたの預言は必ずなります。いつか分かりませんが、全世界に望む大迫害が起こります。その時、私の信仰が本物かどうかが試されます。ですから、今のうちからあなたとの関係をしっかりさせたいです。今から自分のいのちより、あなたを大切にしたいです。主よ、弱い私を助け、最後まであなたへの信仰を守り抜くことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】Revelation 6:11 NIV[11] Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.

【Observation】There are people in the world who face persecution and even martyrdom simply because they believe in Christ. Furthermore, it has been prophesied that a great persecution, which will spread throughout the entire world, will come at the end of the age. Therefore, persecution is certain to come. And those who keep their faith even unto death will be given white robes. Martyrdom is a blessing. My own zeal will vanish if persecution demands it. When persecution comes, my faith will be tested to see if it is genuine. When death comes for me, will I be able to continue holding fast to my faith? That depends on my relationship with the Lord right now. If I do not have an unshakable relationship with the Lord now, I will easily deny His name.

【Application】I will value God more than my own life.

【Prayer】Lord, Your prophecies will surely come to pass. I do not know when, but a great persecution that engulfs the whole world will come. At that time, the authenticity of my faith will be tested. Therefore, I want to strengthen my relationship with You starting now. From this moment on, I want to value You more than my own life. Lord, help me in my weakness, and grant that I may preserve my faith in You until the very end. 🙏
