【恵みと平安は主を知ること Grace and Peace Come from Knowing the Lord】

【御言葉】”神と、私たちの主イエスを知ることによって、恵みと平安が、あなたがたにますます豊かに与えられますように。”ペテロの手紙第二 1章 2節

【観察】ここで言っている「知る」とは知識的に神を知ることを言っているのではない。もっと人格的交わりを通して、神を知るのだ。つまり、日常生活で問題を神に祈り、聖書から語られ、それを実行するも上手く行かず、神に嘆き、文句を言う。そして、へりくだることを教えられ、また従う。そのようなプロセスを繰り返していると天の父やイエス様の思いが分かってくる。それが知ると言うことだ。天の父とイエス様を知ると、神様がくださる一方的なプレゼントである恵みと、神様がくださる揺るがない安らぎが分かってくる。

【適用】日々のあなたとの会話を絶やさないこと。

【祈り】主よ、私はまだまだあなたのことを知りません。あなたを知らないから、あなたの恵みも、あなたの平安もその一部しか分からないのです。😭もっとあなたのことを知るためにあなたと時間を過ごすことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】2 Peter 1:2 NIV[2] Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

【Observation】The “knowing” referred to here does not mean knowing God intellectually. Rather, it means knowing God through personal fellowship. In other words, in daily life, we pray to God about our problems, receive guidance from the Bible, try to put it into practice—but when things don’t go well, we lament and complain to God. Then, we are taught to be humble and to obey. As we repeat this process, we come to understand the heart of our Heavenly Father and Jesus. That is what it means to “know” Him.As you come to know our Heavenly Father and Jesus, you will come to understand the grace—a one-sided gift from God—and the unshakable peace that He gives.

【Application】Never let your daily conversation with Him cease.

【Prayer】Lord, I still do not know You well. Because I do not know You, I understand only a fraction of Your grace and Your peace. 😭Please help me spend time with You so that I may know You better. 🙏
