【主を待ち望め！ Wait for the Lord!】

【御言葉】28 あなたは知らないのか。聞いたことがないのか。主は永遠の神、地の果てまで創造した方。疲れることなく、弱ることなく、その英知は測り知れない。31 しかし、主を待ち望む者は新しく力を得、鷲のように、翼を広げて上ることができる。走っても力衰えず、歩いても疲れない。イザヤ書 40章 28, 31節

【観察】私達人間は体も頭も使えば疲れるし、回復するため、休まなければならない。しかし、全知全能の神は疲れることも、弱ることも、その英知は計り知れない。その神を待ち望む者は新しく力を得ると約束されている。私は自分の肉を使うことにはプロフェッショナルだが、神の力を使うことにはアマチュアだ。

【適用】私は自分の肉により頼むことを止め、神という壮大なリソースとつながっていることを認識し、神から力を受けて、流す。そうすれば、疲れない。そのためにも神を待ち望むことが大切。

【祈り】主よ、私は疲れています。なぜなら、自分の肉に頼っているからです。また疲れないための鍵はあなたを待ち望むことです。しかし、私はあなたと時間を過し、あなたから力を受けてから動くのではなく、あなたを待ち望む前に自分で動いてしまうのです。だから、疲れます。主よ、あなたを待ち望むことを教えてください。🙏

【Scripture】Isaiah 40:28, 31 NIV[28] Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.[31] but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

【Observation】We humans get tired when we use our bodies and minds, and we must rest to recover. However, the all-knowing, all-powerful God never grows weary or weak, and His wisdom is unfathomable.We are promised that those who wait for Him will gain new strength. I am a pro at relying on my flesh, but an amateur at drawing on God’s power.

【Application】I will stop relying on my flesh, recognize that I am connected to the magnificent resource that is God, and receive and channel strength from Him. Then I will not grow weary. That is why it is so important to wait for the Lord.

【Prayer】Lord, I am weary because I rely on my flesh. I know that the key to not growing weary is to wait for You. Yet, instead of spending time with You and receiving strength from You before taking action, I end up acting on my own before I wait for You. That is why I grow weary.Lord, please teach me to wait for You. 🙏
