【死んだ信仰は意味がない！A Dead Faith Is Meaningless!】

【御言葉】”人は行いによって義と認められるのであって、信仰だけによるのではないことが分かるでしょう。”ヤコブの手紙 2章 24節

【観察】えっ、人は信仰によって、義と認められるのでは？では何故、ヤコブは行いによって義と認められると言っているのか？それは信じていると言いながら、行いが伴わないクリスチャンがいるからだ。もし口では信じていると言っても、その言っていることを行なっていないのなら、それは本当は信じていないことだ。もしその人が家族が大切だと言っているのに家族と時間を過ごしていないのなら、その人にとって家族は大切でない。祈りは大切だと言いながら、実生活で祈っていないのなら、その人にとって、祈りは大切ではないのだ。

【適用】口だけの死んだ張りぼての信仰ではなく、行いが伴う生きた信仰を身につけること。

【祈り】主よ、私も自分の私生活を見れば分かります。家族が大切だと言いながら、家族と時間を過ごしていませんでした。祈りが大切だと言いながら、少しの時間しか祈っていませんでした。私にも死んだ信仰がありました。そのような信仰は全く役に立ちません。悔い改めます。主よ、自分を大きく見せる口を閉じ、人に言わず、信仰に伴う行いをさせてください。🙏

【Scripture】James 2:24 NIV[24] You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.

【Observation】Wait—aren’t people justified by faith? Then why does James say we are justified by works? It’s because there are Christians who claim to believe but whose actions don’t match their words. If someone says they believe but doesn’t act on what they say, then they don’t truly believe. If someone says family is important but doesn’t spend time with his family, then his family isn’t important to him. If someone says prayer is important but doesn’t pray in his daily life, then prayer isn’t important to him.

【Application】Let us cultivate a living faith accompanied by deeds, rather than a dead faith that exists only in words.

【Prayer】Lord, when I look at my own life, I see it clearly. While I said my family was important, I wasn’t spending time with them. While I said prayer was important, I was only praying for a short time. I, too, had a dead faith. Such faith is completely useless. I repent.Lord, please help me to close my mouth when I try to make myself look good, to stop talking to others, and to let my actions reflect my faith. 🙏
