【聖霊様に教えてもらう Learning from the Holy Spirit】

【御言葉】7 神が私たちを召されたのは、汚れたことを行わせるためではなく、聖さにあずからせるためです。8 ですから、この警告を拒む者は、人を拒むのではなく、あなたがたにご自分の聖霊を与えてくださる神を拒むのです。テサロニケ人への手紙第一 4章 7〜8節

【観察】私達が神から召されたのは神の聖さに預からさせること。そして、この警告を拒絶するのは、神を拒絶することなのだと。私はこのことをどれ程真剣に受け止めているだろうか？

【適用】自分は神の聖さに預かるために召されたという事実を今一度ちゃんと受け止めなければならない。そして、私の思いも言動も、神の聖さに基づいていなければならない。聖霊様、私を導いてください。

【祈り】主よ、私の思いは不純であり、汚れています。あなたの聖さとは程遠いのです。そして、自分の力で聖くなることさえ出来ません。私の内に住んでおられる聖霊様、あなたは聖いです。私を導き、私が間違った考えに支配された時、直ぐに教えてください。そして、私が直ぐにあなたに従うことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】1 Thessalonians 4:7-8 NIV[7] For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. [8] Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.

【Observation】We have been called by God to share in His holiness. And to reject this warning is to reject God Himself. How seriously am I taking this?

【Application】I must once again truly accept the fact that I have been called to share in God’s holiness. And my thoughts, words, and actions must be grounded in God’s holiness. Holy Spirit, please guide me.

【Prayer】Lord, my thoughts are impure and defiled. They are far from Your holiness. And I cannot even become holy by my own strength. Holy Spirit, who dwells within me, You are holy. Please guide me, and when I am controlled by wrong thoughts, please tell me immediately. And may I be able to obey You right away. 🙏
