【主はあなたの心を見る！ The Lord Looks at your Heart!】

【御言葉】”主はサムエルに言われた。「彼の容貌や背の高さを見てはならない。わたしは彼を退けている。人が見るようには見ないからだ。人はうわべを見るが、主は心を見る。」”サムエル記第一 16章 7節

【観察】あの預言者サムエルでさえ、うわべを見ていた。サムエルは長男エリアブの外見を見て、この人が王だと思った。しかし、神は彼を王と選んでいなかった。我らの主は私達の外見、行いを見ないで、心を見られる。つまり、私達の思いも動機もすべて神様は知っておられるということだ。私の葛藤を主はすべてご存知だということ。これは嬉しい。しかし、同時に私には悪い思いや動機もある。それらも主はご存知なのだから、恐ろしい。直ぐに悔い改める必要がある。

【適用】自分の心の状態を神に伝え、いつも聖霊様にチェックしてもらい、罪を示されれば直ぐに悔い改め、神様からの励ましを日々受ける。

【祈り】主よ、人を誤魔化せても、あなたを誤魔化すことなどできません。私の心はあなたの前から隠せるものは何もありません。なので、心のすべてを開きます。聖霊様、私の心をチェックしてください。正しくないものがあったなら、示してください。私の心がいつもあなたの御前で正しくあることが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】1 Samuel 16:7 NIV[7] But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

【Observation】Even the prophet Samuel looked at outwar appearances. Samuel looked at the appearance of Eliab, the eldest son, and thought he was the one to be king. However, God had not chosen him to be king. Our Lord does not look at our outward appearance or our deeds, but at our hearts.In other words, God knows all our thoughts and motives. The Lord knows all my inner struggles. This is a joy. But at the same time, I also have bad thoughts and motives. Since the Lord knows those too, it is terrifying. I need to repent immediately.

【Application】I will share the state of my heart with God, have the Holy Spirit examine me constantly, repent immediately when sin is revealed, and receive daily encouragement from God.

【Prayer】Lord, I may be able to deceive people, but I cannot deceive You. There is nothing in my heart that can be hidden from You. Therefore, I open my heart completely to You. Holy Spirit, please examine my heart. If there is anything wrong, please reveal it to me. May my heart always be right before You. 🙏
