【平和の君 Prince of Peace】

【御言葉】37 イエスがいよいよオリーブ山の下りにさしかかると、大勢の弟子たちはみな、自分たちが見たすべての力あるわざについて、喜びのあまりに大声で神を賛美し始めて、38 こう言った。「祝福あれ、主の御名によって来られる方、王に。天には平和があるように。栄光がいと高き所にあるように。」ルカの福音書 19章 37〜38節

【観察】イエス様がエルサレムに入城する時、弟子達が神を賛美した。この弟子達の賛美はイエス様が生まれた時、ルカ2章の天使達の賛美とよく似ている。しかし、ルカ2:14では地上でキリストを信じる人達の間で平和があるようにと天使達が賛美しているのに対し、ルカ19:38では天に平和があるようにと賛美している。同じ平和だが、意味が違う。「天に平和」とはどういう意味だろう？それは神と人との敵対関係を終わらせる王が来られ、キリストによって、神と人とに平和が与えられたということではないか。

【適用】だから、神と敵対している人達（まだイエス様を信じていない人達）に平和の主であるイエス・キリストを宣べ伝えよう。

【祈り】主よ、私達は何の望みもなかったのに、あなたが来て、天の父との間にあった敵対の壁を取り除き、天の父と私達を和解させ、私達と天の父の間に平和が訪れました。ハレルヤ！感謝します。まだあなたを知らない人達にあなたのことを伝えることが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】“When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!””Luke 19:37-38 NIV

【Observation】When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the disciples praised God. This praise by the disciples closely resembles the angels’ praise recorded in Luke 2 at the time of Jesus’ birth. However, while in Luke 2:14the angels praise, saying, “Peace on earth among those who believe in Christ,” in Luke 19:38 they praise, saying, “Peace in heaven.” Although the word “peace” is the same, the meaning differs. What does “peace in heaven” mean?Does it not mean that the King who would end the hostility between God and humanity has come, and that through Christ, peace has been granted to both God and humanity?

【Application】Therefore, let us proclaim Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, to those who are at enmity with God (those who do not yet believe in Jesus).

【Prayer】Lord, we had no hope at all, but You came and removed the wall of hostility that stood between us and our Heavenly Father, reconciling us to Him. And now, peace has come between our Heavenly Father and us. Hallelujah! We give You thanks. May we be able to share the good news about You with those who do not yet know You. 🙏
