【神を愛するには自分の罪を知ること To Love God, One Must Recognize One’s Own Sins】

【御言葉】”ですから、わたしはあなたに言います。この人は多くの罪を赦されています。彼女は多く愛したのですから。赦されることの少ない者は、愛することも少ないのです。」”ルカの福音書 7章 47節

【観察】多くの罪を赦された者は多く愛す。それは理解できる。では赦されることの少ない者とはどんな人なのか？罪をそれほど犯さなかった人なのか？と言うより、自分の罪を自覚していない人なのではないだろうか。だから、自分に対する神の愛、神の恵みがどれ程大きいものなのか分からなくなってしまっているのだ。

【適用】聖霊様によって、自分の罪深さがどれ程大きいかを教えてもらい、自分がどれ程神から愛されていて、その神の恵みを大きさを知ること。

【祈り】主よ、私があなたを愛せないのは自分の罪深さが分からず、またあなたの愛と恵みが分からないからです。聖霊様、私がもっとあなたを愛せるように、私の罪がどれほど大きいものなのか、また私に対する神の愛と恵みがどれほど大きいものなのかを教えてください。そして、もっとあなたに感謝し、あなたを愛することが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】“Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.””Luke 7:47 NIV

【Observation】Those who have been forgiven many sins love much. That makes sense. So what kind of person is one who has been forgiven little? Is it someone who hasn’t committed many sins?Rather, isn’t it someone who is unaware of their own sinfulness? That is why they have lost sight of just how great God’s love and grace are toward them.

【Application】May the Holy Spirit reveal to me the depth of my sinfulness, so that I may realize just how deeply God loves me and understand the magnitude of His grace.

【Prayer】Lord, the reason I cannot love You is that I do not understand my own sinfulness, nor do I understand Your love and grace. Oh, Holy Spirit, please show me just how great my sins are and how great God’s love and grace are toward me, so that I may love You more. And may I be able to thank You more and love You more. 🙏
