【御言葉】8 地に住む者たちで、世界の基が据えられたときから、屠られた子羊のいのちの書にその名が書き記されていない者はみな、この獣を拝むようになる。9 耳のある者は聞きなさい。10 捕らわれの身になるべき者は捕らわれ、剣で殺されるべき者は剣で殺される。ここに、聖徒たちの忍耐と信仰が必要である。ヨハネの黙示録 13章 8〜10節

【観察】世の終わりに、私達は2択を迫られる。神を拝むか、獣を拝むか。そして、10節から分かるのは、獣を拝むのを拒む者は、投獄されるか、殺される。私達に必要なのは忍耐と信仰である。

【適用】今、神との関係をしっかりと建て上げ、備えなければならない。その時、私達の本当の信仰が試されるからだ。

【祈り】主よ、世の終わりにはいのちの書に名を記されていない者は全員、獣を拝むようになります。私が礼拝すべきお方はあなただけです。私は獣を拝まないのですから、私は投獄か、死刑になると思います。主よ、時間がある今、自分の信仰を強く建て上げることが出来ますように。日々のデボーションを祝福し、あなたとの関係が揺るがないものとしてくださいますように。🙏

【Scripture】Revelation 13:8-10 NIV[8] All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world. [9] Whoever has ears, let them hear. [10] “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

【Observation】At the end of the age, we will be faced with a choice: to worship God or to worship the beast. And as verse 10 makes clear, those who refuse to worship the beast will either be imprisoned or killed. What we need is patience and faith.

【Application】We must firmly build our relationship with God and prepare ourselves now, for that is when our true faith will be tested.

【Prayer】Lord, at the end of the age, everyone whose name is not written in the Book of Life will end up worshiping the beast. You alone are the One I should worship. Since I will not worship the beast, I believe I will face imprisonment or execution. Lord, while there is still time, please help me to build up my faith firmly. Bless my daily devotions and make my relationship with You unshakable. 🙏
