【完全に死んでくださったイエス様　Jesus, Who Died Completely】

【御言葉】33 イエスのところに来ると、すでに死んでいるのが分かったので、その脚を折らなかった。34 しかし兵士の一人は、イエスの脇腹を槍で突き刺した。すると、すぐに血と水が出て来た。ヨハネの福音書 19章 33〜34節

【観察】ローマ兵がイエス様のところに来た時、イエス様は死んでいた。だから、足を折らなかった。しかし、ローマ兵の一人が槍で脇腹を刺して、血と水が出たとある。私は医者ではないし、血と水がどういう意味なのかは分からないが、イエス様が完全に死んだことは分かる。私はイエス様の脇腹を刺したローマ兵に感謝しよう。なぜなら、イエス様が間違っても命を吹き返す望みを完全に断ち切ってくれたからだ。イエス様が完全に死んでくださったお陰で、私の贖いは完成したのだから。

【適用】私の贖いはキリストの死によってもたらされたことを今一度、感謝する。

【祈り】主よ、あなたが完全に死んでくださったので、私の罪は贖われたのです。そのことを感謝します。主よ、あなたの贖いが当たり前になることがなく、私がいつもあなたの死に感謝し続けることが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】John 19:33-34 NIV[33] But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. [34] Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.

【Observation】When the Roman soldiers came to Jesus, He was already dead. That is why they did not break His legs. However, it says that one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and blood and water flowed out. I am not a doctor, and I do not know what the blood and water signify, but I do know that Jesus was completely dead.I want to thank the Roman soldier who pierced Jesus’ side.This is because he completely cut off any hope that Jesus might come back to life by mistake.Thanks to the fact that Jesus died completely, my redemption was made complete.

【Application】I give thanks once again that my redemption was brought about by Christ’s death.

【Prayer】Lord, because You died completely, my sins have been redeemed. I thank You for that. Lord, may I never take Your redemption for granted, and may I always continue to give thanks for Your death. 🙏
