【指導者達を敬う益 The Benefits of Honoring Leaders】

【御言葉】”あなたがたの指導者たちの言うことを聞き、また服従しなさい。この人たちは神に申し開きをする者として、あなたがたのたましいのために見張りをしているのです。ですから、この人たちが喜んでそのことをし、嘆きながらすることにならないようにしなさい。そうでないと、あなたがたの益にはならないからです。”ヘブル人への手紙 13章 17節

【観察】私達の指導者達の言うことを聞き、また服従しなさいと言われる。それは神が立てられた権威なのだから、神に従うように彼らに従わなければならない。それも彼らが嘆きながらするのではなく、喜びながらするようにしなければならない。そうすれば、結果的に私達の益となるのだ。

【適用】自分の上に立てられている権威を敬い、正しいことをし続ける。そうすれば、結果的に私達が益を受けると信じる。

【祈り】主よ、私達はいつも自分達が正しいと思い、他の人は間違っていると思いがちです。しかし、私達の上に立てられている権威はあなたからのものなのですから、あなたに従うように彼らにも従うことが出来ますように。そして、私に正しいことをし続ける忍耐を与えてください。その益を受けるのは私達ですから。🙏

【Scripture】Hebrews 13:17 NIV[17] Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.

【Observation】We are told to listen to and obey our leaders. Since they represent the authority established by God, we must obey them just as we obey God. We must also ensure that they carry out their duties with joy, not with groaning. If we do so, it will ultimately be for our own good.

【Application】We will honor the authority set over us and continue to do what is right. We believe that, as a result, we will ultimately benefit.

【Prayer】Lord, we tend to think we are always right and that others are wrong. But since the authority established over us comes from You, please help us to obey them just as we obey You. And please give me the patience to continue doing what is right. For it is we who will benefit from it. 🙏
