【義はプレゼント？ Is Righteousness a Gift?】

【御言葉】3 彼らは神の義を知らずに、自らの義を立てようとして、神の義に従わなかったのです。4 律法が目指すものはキリストです。それで、義は信じる者すべてに与えられるのです。ローマ人への手紙 10章 3〜4節

【観察】義は神からのプレゼント？聖書は義は与えられるものとハッキリ書いている。私達が正しいと認められることが行いではなく、何かして得るものでもなく、キリストを信じることによって、私達が正しいとされるプレゼントであると。ほとんどの人は理解が出来ないだろう。いや、そもそも神様は私達が理解することではなく、自分達の理解を越えても神を正しいとする信仰を求めておられる。

【適用】自分の理解力に頼るのではなく、謙遜になり、神の言葉を素直に疑いなく信じる心を求める。

【祈り】主よ、私は自分の理解出来ることは受け入れ、理解出来ないことは受け入れず、拒絶していたと思います。私は自分の小さな理解力に頼っていたことを悔い改めます。自分の理解力に頼るのではなく、あなたの御前でへりくだり、あなたの言葉を素直に疑いなく信じます。弱い私を憐れんでください。🙏

【Scripture】Romans 10:3-4 NIV[3] Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. [4] Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

【Observation】Is righteousness a gift from God?The Bible clearly states that righteousness is something that is given. It is not that we are recognized as righteous because of our deeds, nor is it something we earn by doing something; rather, it is a gift by which we are declared righteous through faith in Christ. Most people probably cannot understand this.No, in fact, God does not seek our understanding; He seeks faith that declares Him righteous, even beyond our own comprehension.

【Application】Rather than relying on my own understanding, I will humble myself and seek a heart that believes God’s Word sincerely and without doubt.

【Prayer】Lord, I realize that I have accepted only what I could understand and rejected what I could not. I repent for relying on my own limited understanding. Instead of relying on my own understanding, I will humble myself before You and believe Your Word sincerely and without doubt. Have mercy on me, for I am weak. 🙏
