【患難は当たり前？ Are Trials Inevitable?】

【御言葉】”このような苦難の中にあっても、だれも動揺することがないようにするためでした。あなたがた自身が知っているとおり、私たちはこのような苦難にあうように定められているのです。”テサロニケ人への手紙第一 3章 3節

【観察】パウロは「私達はこのような苦難にあうよう定められている」と言っている。またイエス様はヨハネ16:33で「この世には患難がある。」と言っている。私達クリスチャンはこの世に逆らって歩んでいるので、キリストを信じる前より患難が増える！そして、それは当たり前のことだ。むしろ、この世に生きていて、もし私達が葛藤していないとしたら、私達の信仰は死んでいると思った方が良い。

【適用】患難、苦労はあって当たり前だと信じ、キリストに従っていく。

【祈り】主よ、この世は私達に相応しい世界ではありません。私達に何かひどいことが起こった時、驚き怪しむのではなく、患難があることは当たり前のことだと信じ、日々キリストに従うことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】1 Thessalonians 3:3 NIV[3] so that no one would be unsettled by these trials. For you know quite well that we are destined for them.

【Observation】Paul says, “We know that we are destined to face such trials.” Jesus also says in John 16:33, “In this world you will have trouble.” Since we Christians are walking against the world, we face more trials than we did before we believed in Christ! And that is to be expected. In fact, if we are living in this world and not facing any struggles, we should consider our faith to be dead.

【Application】Believe that trials and hardships are to be expected, and follow Christ.

【Prayer】Lord, this world is not a place suited for us. When something terrible happens to us, may we not be surprised or suspicious, but rather believe that trials are to be expected, and may we follow Christ day by day. 🙏
