【呪いを祝福に変える神 God Who Turns Curses into Blessings】

【御言葉】11 ダビデはアビシャイと彼のすべての家来たちに言った。「見よ。私の身から出た私の息子さえ、私のいのちを狙っている。今、このベニヤミン人としては、なおさらのことだ。放っておきなさい。彼に呪わせなさい。主が彼に命じられたのだから。12 おそらく、主は私の心をご覧になるだろう。そして主は今日の彼の呪いに代えて、私に良いことをもって報いてくださるだろう。」サムエル記第二 16章 11, 12節

【観察】私は以前、仕事で「太田、死ね！」と言われたことがある。それを言ったのは知的障害者の人で、自分の思い通りにいかないことに腹を立てて、私に暴言を吐いたのだ。私も彼に同じ言葉を返したかったが、もちろん反撃せずに優しく注意をした。このように今の私達も、時に呪いの言葉を受ける時がある。ダビデも呪われた。しかし、ダビデは主が呪いさえも祝福に変えてくださる神だと知っていたから、言い返さなかったのだ。

【適用】人から呪われたとしても、キリストの御名によって、その呪いを断ち切り、その呪いを神は祝福に変えてくださると信じる。

【祈り】主よ、私達は時に呪いの言葉を受ける時があります。しかし、あなたはその呪いを断ち切り、呪いを祝福に変えてくださる神です。主よ、ありがとうございます。🙏

【Scripture】2 Samuel 16:11-12 NIV[11] David then said to Abishai and all his officials, “My son, my own flesh and blood, is trying to kill me. How much more, then, this Benjamite! Leave him alone; let him curse, for the Lord has told him to. [12] It may be that the Lord will look upon my misery and restore to me his covenant blessing instead of his curse today.”

【Observation】I was once told at work, “Ota(my family name), die!” The person who said it had an intellectual disability; he was angry that things weren’t going his way and hurled insults at me.I wanted to say the same thing back to him, but of course, I did not retaliate; instead, I gently admonished him. In the same way, we too sometimes face curses from others.David was cursed as well. However, because David knew that the Lord is a God who turns even curses into blessings, he did not retaliate.

【Application】Even if we are cursed by others, we believe that in the name of Christ, that curse will be broken, and God will turn it into a blessing.

【Prayer】Lord, there are times when we receive words of cursing. But You are the God who breaks those curses and turns them into blessings. Thank You, Lord. 🙏
