【人間を捕る漁師にしてください！Please send me out to fish for people!】

【御言葉】”イエスは彼らに言われた。「わたしについて来なさい。人間をとる漁師にしてあげよう。」”マタイの福音書 4章 19節

【観察】人間をとる漁師とはどういう意味なのか？ここで言っている「捕る」というギリシャ語は「生かすために捕らえる」という意味があるそうだ。つまり、イエス様がペテロに言ったことを分かりやすく言うなら、「わたしについてきなさい。あなたは人を生かし、神に導く者に変えてあげよう。」と言っておられるのだ。そして、イエス様には私達をそのように変えてくださる力がある。私もペテロのようになりたい。

【適用】人々を神に導く者にしてもらうことをイエス様に願う。

【祈り】主よ、私もペテロのように、あなたのことを知らない多くの人達をあなたの元に導く者となりたいです。人があなたのところに行くなら、彼らは永遠に生きる者に変えられでしょう。あなたにはその力があるからです。またあなたは私を人間を捕る漁師に変えることができるお方であると信じます。主よ、あなたが私を変えてください。宜しくお願い致します。🙇

【Scripture】Matthew 4:19 NIV[19] “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”

【Observation】What does it mean to be a fisher of men? The Greek word for “catch” used here apparently means “to catch in order to give life.” In other words, to put what Jesus said to Peter simply, He is saying, “Follow me. I will transform you into someone who gives life to others and leads them to God.” And Jesus has the power to transform us in that way. I want to be like Peter.

【Application】I ask Jesus to make me someone who leads people to God.

【Prayer】Lord, like Peter, I want to become someone who leads many people who do not know You to You. If people come to You, they will be transformed into those who have eternal life, for You have that power. I also believe that You are the One who can transform me into a fisher of men. Lord, please transform me. I ask this in Your name. 🙇
