【私のために立たれるイエス様 Jesus Standing Up for Me】

【御言葉】見なさい。天が開けて、人の子が神の右に立っておられるのが見えます」と言った。使徒の働き 7章 56節

【観察】この時、ステパノは偽の証言でサンヘドリンで訴えられていた。ステパノは弁明したと言うよりは、聖霊様に満たされ、宗教的リーダー達を責め、その後にイエス様の姿を見る。そのイエス様の姿は右側の座には座っておらず、立っていた。なぜイエス様は座らずに立っていたのだろう？聖書にその理由は書いていない。しかし、イエス様はステパノがこの後、キリストの証しのために殺されることを知っていた。私はイエス様がステパノのことを思って、座っていられずに立っていたのではないか。私達を思うあまりに、イエス様は座っていられなかったのではないか。

【適用】私はイエス様が座っていられないほど、イエス様から思われていることを信じる。

【祈り】主よ、あなたは私のことを思ってくださるお方です。あなたは座っていられないほど、私達を愛してくださっていることを感謝します。今日もあなたの愛を受け止めます。私の主よ。🙏

【Scripture】Acts 7:56 NIV[56] “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”

【Observation】At this time, Stephen was being accused before the Sanhedrin on the basis of false testimony. Rather than offering a defense, Stephen, filled with the Holy Spirit, rebuked the religious leaders, and then saw the figure of Jesus. Jesus was not seated at the right hand of God; He was standing. Why was Jesus standing instead of sitting? The Bible does not state the reason. However, Jesus knew that Stephen would soon be killed for bearing witness to Christ. I wonder if Jesus stood because He was thinking of Stephen and could not remain seated. Could it be that Jesus could not sit because He cared so deeply for us?

【Application】I believe that Jesus cares for me so deeply that He cannot remain seated.

【Prayer】Lord, You are the One who cares for me. I thank You that You love us so much that You cannot remain seated. Today, I receive Your love, my Lord. 🙏
