【私を成長させてくださるのは神のみ！ Only God Makes Me Grow!】

【御言葉】6 私が植えて、アポロが水を注ぎました。しかし、成長させたのは神です。7 ですから、大切なのは、植える者でも水を注ぐ者でもなく、成長させてくださる神です。コリント人への手紙第一 3章 6〜7節

【観察】私は田舎で育ち、良く野菜を作った。畑を耕し、土に肥やしを入れ、種を撒き、水を注いだ。雑草を小まめに取った。私は野菜が成長出来るように環境を整えた。しかし、私は野菜の成長に関して、直接的働きは一切していない。ある子どもが野菜を作り、成長を助けようと毎日野菜を引っ張ったために枯れた話を思い出した。私達が直接的に成長を助けることは出来ない。成長は神の領域なのだ。それは私達の霊的成長も同じだと思う。色んな人が用いられ、私達が成長できるように環境を整えてくれるが、成長させてくださるのは神だけなのだ。

【適用】植物が完全に神に依り頼んでいるように、私も成長してくださる神に自分を任せ、委ねる。

【祈り】主よ、私を成長させてくださるのは人ではなく、あなたです。私が毎日、あなたにつながっていれば、自然と私は実をならせることが出来ます。毎日、あなたに依り頼んで歩んでいくことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】1 Corinthians 3:6-7 NIV[6] I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. [7] So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.

【Observation】I grew up in the countryside and often grew vegetables. I tilled the fields, added fertilizer to the soil, sowed seeds, and watered them. I diligently pulled weeds. I prepared the environment so that the vegetables could grow. However, I did not play any direct role in the vegetables’ growth. I was reminded of a story about a child who tried to help his vegetables grow by pulling on them every day, only to have them wither and die. We cannot directly help growth; this is God’s domain.I believe the same is true for our spiritual growth. Various people are used to prepare the environment so that we can grow, but it is God alone who causes us to grow.

【Application】Just as plants rely completely on God, I will entrust myself to the God who causes me to grow.

【Prayer】Lord, it is not people but You who cause me to grow. If I remain connected to You every day, I will naturally bear fruit. May I walk with You, relying on You every day. 🙏
