【聖霊様によって歩む Walking by the Holy Spirit】

【御言葉】16 私は言います。御霊によって歩みなさい。そうすれば、肉の欲望を満たすことは決してありません。17 肉が望むことは御霊に逆らい、御霊が望むことは肉に逆らうからです。この二つは互いに対立しているので、あなたがたは願っていることができなくなります。ガラテヤ人への手紙 5章 16〜17節

【観察】ここで私達の中に肉と聖霊様がいて、互いに争っており、あなたは自分の願っていることが出来ないでいると言っている。本当にそうだと思う。私は正しいこと、愛することをいつもしたいのに、私は自分の欲に導かれ、その正しいこと、愛することを出来ないでいる。どうすれば、自分の欲望に従わずに済むか、聖書にはっきり書いてある。聖霊様に従い、歩むことだ。聖霊様は私達に罪を教え、義とは何かを教えてくれる。

【適用】自分の中に住まわれる聖霊様を意識し、聖霊様の声を聞き、その言葉に従おう。

【祈り】主よ、私の肉の声はとても大きく、聖霊様の声はとても小さいです。聖霊様が「ダメだよ」と教えてくれているのに、あなたの声、思いを知りながら、自分がしたいことを押し通し、その後、悪魔から責められ続けます。私は本当に弱い者です。しかし、聖霊様が私の中に住んでくださっています。ここに希望があります。聖霊様、今日もあなたの囁きに従います。迷いやすい私を今日も導いてくださいますよう。🙏

【Scripture】Galatians 5:16-17 NIV[16] So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. [17] For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

【Observation】Here it says that the flesh and the Holy Spirit are within us, fighting against each other, and that because of this, we are unable to do what you desire. I truly believe this is the case. I always want to do what is right and to love, yet I am led by my own desires and find myself unable to do those things. The Bible clearly tells us how to avoid following our own desires: by obeying and walking in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and teaches us what righteousness is.

【Application】Let me be mindful of the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, listen to the Holy Spirit’s voice, and obey His words.

【Prayer】Lord, the voice of my flesh is very loud, but the voice of the Holy Spirit is very soft. Even when the Holy Spirit tells me, “No,” I push through and do what I want, knowing Your voice and Your will, and then I am constantly accused by the devil. I am truly weak. But the Holy Spirit dwells within me. Herein lies my hope. Holy Spirit, today I will obey Your whisper. Please guide me today, for I am easily led astray. 🙏
