【救い出す神 The God Who Delivers】

【御言葉】35 あるいは、あなたがたの神、主がエジプトにおいて、あなたの目の前であなたがたのためになさったように、試みと、しるしと不思議と、戦いをもって、また力強い御手と伸ばされた御腕と、恐ろしい力をもって、一つの国民をほかの国民の中から取り、ご自分のものにされた神がかつてあっただろうか。36 あなたにこのことが示されたのは、主だけが神であり、ほかに神はいないことを、あなたが知るためであった。申命記 4章 34〜35節

【観察】神がイスラエルの民をエジプトから救い出さなければ、イスラエルの民は自力でエジプトの支配から出る可能性はゼロだった。しかし、神はイスラエルの民を選び、エジプトの圧政から救い出し、イスラエルの民をご自分のものとされた。それと同じように、神は私達を選び、力強い御手をもって、この世の支配から私達を救い出し、約束の地に、天国へ連れて行ってくださる。そう、私達は出エジプトを体験している。この世から救ってくださる神は主だけであり、他に神はいない。エジプト（この世）からは解放されたが、まだ約束の地（天国）に入っていない。イスラエルの民が約束の地に入るまで戦いが続いたように、私達も天国へ行くまで信仰の戦いは続くが、イスラエルの民が約束の地に入ったように、私達も天国に入れる道を用意してくださった神に感謝しよう。

【適用】主だけが神であり、他に神はいないこと、私達をこの世から、永遠の死から救ってくださったことに感謝し、天に召されるまで、主を自分の神とし続ける。

【祈り】主よ、あなたは力強い御手をもって、私をこの世の圧政から救い出してくださいました。また私を天国まで導いてくださる神です。ありがとうございます。私が天に召されるその日まで、あなたに感謝しつつ、従い通すことが出来ますように。迷いやすい私を憐れみ、導いてください。🙏

【Scripture】Deuteronomy 4:34-35 NIV[34] Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes? [35] You were shown these things so that you might know that the Lord is God; besides him there is no other.

【Observation】Had God not rescued the Israelites from Egypt, they would have had zero chance of escaping Egyptian rule on their own. Yet God chose the Israelites, delivered them from Egyptian oppression, and made them His own people.In the same way, God has chosen us. With His mighty hand, He will rescue us from the dominion of this world and bring us to the promised land, to heaven. Yes, we are experiencing an exodus. The Lord alone is the God who saves us from this world; there is no other god. We have been liberated from Egypt (this world), but we have not yet entered the promised land (heaven). Just as the Israelites fought until they entered the promised land, our battle of faith continues until we reach heaven. But just as the Israelites entered the promised land, let us thank God who has prepared the way for us to enter heaven.

【Application】We thank the Lord that He alone is God, and there is no other. We thank Him for saving us from this world and from eternal death. Until we are called to heaven, we will continue to acknowledge the Lord as our God.

【Prayer】Lord, with Your mighty hand You have rescued me from the oppression of this world. You are also the God who will lead me to heaven. Thank You. May I continue to follow You in gratitude until the day I am called home to heaven. Have mercy on me, who is prone to stray, and guide me. 🙏
