【人からの拒絶より、人への愛が勝りますように。 May love for others triumph over rejection from others】

【御言葉】16 パリサイ派の律法学者たちは、イエスが罪人や取税人たちと一緒に食事をしているのを見て、弟子たちに言った。「なぜ、あの人は取税人や罪人たちと一緒に食事をするのですか。」17 これを聞いて、イエスは彼らにこう言われた。「医者を必要とするのは、丈夫な人ではなく病人です。わたしが来たのは、正しい人を招くためではなく、罪人を招くためです。」マルコの福音書 2章 16〜17節

【観察】もし私が売春婦やヤクザのパーティーにある牧師が参加し、彼らと楽しく食事をしているのを見たとしたら、私はどう思うだろうか？多分、私は「牧師はそんなパーティーに参加すべきではない。」と参加した牧師を裁くだろう。私も律法学者達と同じではないか。そして、もっと驚いたのは、私が罪人が救われることよりも、他のクリスチャン達から裁かれることを恐れていることだった。

【適用】イエス様は罪人を救いに招くため、罪人に関わった。私もクリスチャン達から裁かれることを恐れず、罪人と思われている人達に関わる。

【祈り】主よ、私は人の救いより、自分がクリスチャン達から裁かれ、拒絶されることを恐れていました。また私も律法学者達と同じように人を差別していました。悔い改めます。イエス様、私もあなたのように人の目を恐れず、喜んで罪人と呼ばれている人達に関われる者とさせてください。人からの拒絶より、人への愛が勝りますように。🙏

【Scripture】Mark 2:16-17 NIV[16] When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”[17] On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

【Observation】If I saw a pastor attending a party with prostitutes or yakuza and enjoying a meal with them, what would I think? Probably, I would judge the pastor, saying, “A pastor shouldn’t attend such a party.” Am I not just like the scribes? And what surprised me even more was that I feared being judged by other Christians more than I feared sinners being saved.

【Application】Jesus associated with sinners to call them to salvation. I will also associate with those considered sinners, without fearing judgment from other Christians.

【Prayer】Lord, I feared being judged and rejected by fellow Christians more than I feared for people’s salvation. I also discriminated against others like the scribes. I repent. Jesus, make me someone who, like You, does not fear human eyes but joyfully engages with those called sinners. May love for others triumph over fear of rejection. 🙏
