【十字架、それはイエス様がしたこと The Cross: What Jesus Did】

【御言葉】しかし私には、私たちの主イエス・キリストの十字架以外に誇りとするものが、決してあってはなりません。この十字架につけられて、世は私に対して死に、私も世に対して死にました。ガラテヤ人への手紙 6章 14節

【観察】ここで言っている十字架とはイエス様が十字架で成し遂げてくださったことだと私は思う。つまり、自分がしたことを誇るのではなく、イエス様がしてくれたことを誇ること。イエス様は何をしてくださったのか。・私達の罪をイエス様が十字架の上で負い、イエス様が流された血によって、私達の罪は贖われた。・自分達が持っている罪のため、天の父と敵対していたが、イエス様の十字架によって、天の父と和解が成立し、天の父との関係が回復した。・自分の肉から御霊の導きを選ぶことが出来るようになった。などなど。誰でも素晴らしいプレゼントをもらったら、自慢するものである。また、そのプレゼントによって自分が価値ある者になったかのように思うが、本当に素晴らしいのは十字架、つまりイエス様が私達のためにしてくださったことだ。私もこの十字架の意味をもっと他の人に伝えるためにも、まずは自分が知らなければならない。

【適用】イエス様が十字架でしてくれたことを深く学ぶ。そして、その十字架を伝える。

【祈り】主よ、私はあなたが何をしてくださったかよりも、自分が何をしたかを人に伝えてしまう者です。私が伝えるべきことはあなたが何をしてくださったかです。主よ、あなたが十字架の上でしてくださったことを深く知ることが出来ますように。啓示を与えてください。鈍い私を憐れみ、教え、導き、大胆に十字架を証することが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】[14] May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Galatians 6:14 NIV

【Observation】I believe that the “cross” referred to here is what Jesus accomplished on the cross. In other words, it’s not about boasting in what I’ve done, but in what Jesus has done for me. What did Jesus do for us?・Jesus bore our sins on the cross, and through His shed blood, our sins were atoned for.・Though we were at enmity with our Heavenly Father because of our sins, through Jesus’ cross, we were reconciled to Him, and our relationship with Him was restored.・We are now able to choose the guidance of the Holy Spirit over the desires of our flesh.And so on.Anyone who receives a wonderful gift naturally wants to boast about it. We might even feel as though the gift itself makes us valuable, but what is truly wonderful is the cross—that is, what Jesus did for us. In order to better share the meaning of the cross with others, I must first understand it myself.

【Application】Study deeply what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Then, share the message of the cross.

【Prayer】Lord, I am the kind of person who tends to tell others about what I have done rather than what You have done. What I should be sharing is what You have done. Lord, please help me to deeply understand what You did on the cross. Grant me revelation. Have mercy on me, who am slow to understand; teach me, guide me, and enable me to boldly bear witness to the cross. 🙏
