【自分の良かれと思うことより、主への従順を。Obedience to the Lord Over What You Think Is Best】

【御言葉】44 そのとき彼にこう言われた。「だれにも何も話さないように気をつけなさい。ただ行って、自分を祭司に見せなさい。そして、人々への証しのために、モーセが命じた物をもって、あなたのきよめのささげ物をしなさい。」45 ところが、彼は出て行ってふれ回り、この出来事を言い広め始めた。そのため、イエスはもはや表立って町に入ることができず、町の外の寂しいところにおられた。しかし、人々はいたるところからイエスのもとにやって来た。マルコの福音書 1章 44〜45節

【観察】皮膚病に冒された人はイエス様によって癒されたが、その後、イエス様は癒されたことを誰にも言わず、祭司に見せなさいと言われた。しかし、その人はイエス様の言われたことに従わず、その出来事を町中に広めた。多分、その人は嬉しくて、良い思いで行なったのだろう。しかし、私達の喜びや良い思いでイエス様を伝えるよりも、イエス様に従うことの方が大切なのだ。結果、イエス様の働きを邪魔することになる。

【適用】主に聞き従うことは、主にいけにえを捧げることより勝る。

【祈り】主よ、私が考える良いことは時にあなたの働きを邪魔しているのかもしれません。私の考える良いことより、あなたに従うことの方が大切であると学びました。主よ、自分が良かれと思って行動することより、あなたが何と言われているかを知り、それに従うことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】“See that you don’t tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.” Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.Mark 1:44-45 NIV

【Observation】The man with leprosy was healed by Jesus, but afterward, Jesus told him not to tell anyone about his healing and to go show himself to the priest. However, the man did not obey Jesus’ instructions and instead spread the news throughout the town. Perhaps he did so out of joy and with good intentions.Yet, obeying Jesus is more important than sharing the gospel out of our own joy or good intentions. As a result, we end up hindering the Lord’s work.

【Application】Obeying the Lord is better than offering sacrifices to Him.

【Prayer】Lord, the things I think are good may sometimes be hindering Your work. I have learned that obeying You is more important than what I consider to be good. Lord, may I know what You are saying and obey it, rather than acting based on what I think is best. 🙏
