Knowing and Obeying God’s Will】

English follows

【Scripture】“Praise be to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who has put it into the king’s heart to bring honor to the house of the Lord in Jerusalem in this way and who has extended his good favor to me before the king and his advisers and all the king’s powerful officials. Because the hand of the Lord my God was on me, I took courage and gathered leaders from Israel to go up with me.”Ezra 7:27-28 NIV

【Observation】No matter how much we resist, when God moves, things will surely come to pass. God worked through King Artaxerxes, the absolute ruler of that time, to restore the temple. It is astonishing that a foreign king would even provide the funds to restore the temple in Jerusalem. When God moves, no one can stop Him.

【Application】We cannot create the waves, but we can ride them. Let us recognize what God is doing and follow Him, just as Ezra did.

【Prayer】Lord, when You move, no one can stop You. Lord, may I recognize what You are doing, understand my part in it, and follow You faithfully. 🙏
