【御言葉】9 また、彼らの後にもう一人、第三の御使いがやって来て、大声で言った。「もしだれかが獣とその像を拝み、自分の額か手に刻印を受けるなら、10 その者は、神の怒りの杯に混ぜ物なしに注がれた、神の憤りのぶどう酒を飲み、聖なる御使いたちと子羊の前で火と硫黄によって苦しめられる。11 彼らの苦しみの煙は、世々限りなく立ち上る。獣とその像を拝む者たち、また、だれでも獣の名の刻印を受ける者には、昼も夜も安らぎがない。」12 ここに、聖徒たち、すなわち神の戒めを守り、イエスに対する信仰を持ち続ける者たちの忍耐が必要である。ヨハネの黙示録 14章 9〜12節

【観察】獣を拝み、手と額に印を受ける者は、悪魔と同じように地獄に落とされる。そして、それは永遠に続く。私達は絶対に獣を拝んではいけないし、獣の刻印を受けてはいけない。私達がイエスへの信仰を保ち続けるのに必要なのは忍耐であると聖書は言っている。

【適用】ではどのようにして、自分の忍耐を増し加えることが出来るのか。忍耐は自分の力により頼むことではない。むしろ、すべての領域において、神様に信頼すること。今日から神に信頼し、主にある諦めない忍耐を成長させよう。

【祈り】主よ、あなたのいのちの書に名を記されていない人達は、獣を拝み、手と額に刻印を受けるでしょう。しかし、刻印を受けた者は悪魔と共に永遠の地獄に落とされ、永遠に苦しみます。私はあなたを信じ、信頼します。どんな試練にも耐えられる信頼が与えられますように。🙏

【Scripture】Revelation 14:9-12 NIV[9] A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, [10] they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. [11] And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” [12] This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.

【Observation】Those who worship the beast and receive the mark on their hand and forehead will be cast into hell, just like the devil. And this will last forever. We must never worship the beast, nor receive its mark. The Bible states that what we need to continue holding fast to our faith in Jesus is endurance.

【Application】So, how can we deepen our endurance? Endurance does not mean relying on our own strength. Rather, it means trusting God in every aspect of our lives. Starting today, let us trust in God and cultivate the perseverance that never gives up in the Lord.

【Prayer】Lord, those whose names are not written in the Book of Life will worship the Beast and receive the mark on their hands and foreheads. But those who receive the mark will be cast into eternal hell with the devil and suffer forever.I believe in You and trust You. Please grant me the faith to endure any trial. 🙏
