【神への愛＝神の命令を守る To Love God = Keeping God’s Commandments】

【御言葉】5 しかし、だれでも神のことばを守っているなら、その人のうちには神の愛が確かに全うされているのです。それによって、自分が神のうちにいることが分かります。ヨハネの手紙第一 2章 5節

【観察】聖書は神を愛しているなら、神の言葉を守ると言っている。なぜなら、愛している証拠として、愛する者の願いを叶えたいと思うのはある意味当たり前だからだ。もしその人に神の命令を守りたいという願いがなければ、その人は神を愛していないことになるし、実際神を愛する愛はない。「神を愛する」と「神の命令を守る」は比例する。私は神を愛しているのか？私は人を赦すこと、人を愛すること、祈ること、捧げること、神の命令を守っているか？守っているなら、私は神のうちにいることが分かる。

【適用】心を尽くして、神の命令を守る。

【祈り】主よ、私はあなたの命令を守りたいと願っています。しかし、その願いがありながら、行いが伴わないのです。自分を愛する愛が大きく、あなたを愛する愛がとても小さいのです。あなたへの愛を増し加えてください。あなたの命令を喜んで守る者にしてください。弱い私を憐れんでください。🙏

【Scripture】1 John 2:5 NIV[5] But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him:

【Observation】The Bible says that if you love God, you will keep His word. This is because, in a sense, it is only natural to want to fulfill the wishes of the one you love as proof of that love. If a person does not have the desire to keep God’s commandments, it means they do not love God, and in reality, they do not possess the love that comes from loving God. “Loving God” and “keeping God’s commandments” go hand in hand.Do I love God?Am I forgiving others, loving others, praying, giving offerings, and keeping God’s commands?If I am keeping them, I know that I am in God.

【Application】I will keep God’s commands with all my heart.

【Prayer】Lord, I desire to keep Your commandments. Yet, even though I have this desire, my actions do not follow through. My love for myself is great, while my love for You is very small.Please increase my love for You. Make me one who joyfully keeps Your commandments. Have mercy on me, for I am weak. 🙏
