【あなたにも罪があるのだから、裁くな！You Also Have Sins, Do Not Judge!】

【御言葉】”しかし、彼らが問い続けるので、イエスは身を起こして言われた。「あなたがたの中で罪のない者が、まずこの人に石を投げなさい。」”ヨハネの福音書 8章 7節

【観察】姦淫の現場で現行犯逮捕された女がイエス様の元に連れてこられた。モーセの律法によれば、姦淫の罪を犯した者は石打ちの刑である。しかし、イエス様は、「あなたがたの中で罪のない者が、まずこの人に石を投げなさい。」と言われた。誰に罪がないのか。私は人の罪を見て、良く裁いている。しかし、神は私にも罪があるのだから、裁くなと言われる。私が人の罪を裁く時、必ず自分の罪を忘れている時だ。また人に石を投げることが出来るのは、罪のない者、つまり神だけである。

【適用】その人の罪を裁くのではなく、自分も同じ罪があることを忘れず、その人を憐れむ。

【祈り】主よ、私は自分の罪を忘れ、何と人を裁いていたことでしょう。私がすべきことはその人を裁くのではなく、憐れみ、愛することです。主よ、まるで自分に罪がない者のように人を裁くことがないように、また自分も罪を犯してしまう人と同じ弱さを持っていることを忘れることなく、その人を憐れむことが出来ますように。🙏

【Scripture】John 8:7 NIV[7] When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”

【Observation】A woman caught in the act of adultery was brought before Jesus. According to the Law of Moses, anyone guilty of adultery was to be stoned to death.However, Jesus said, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Who is without sin?I often judge others’ sins. Yet God tells me not to judge, because I, too, am a sinner. Whenever I judge another’s sin, it is always when I have forgotten my own sin. Furthermore, the only one who can cast a stone at another is the sinless One—that is, God alone.

【Application】Rather than judging another’s sin, I will remember that I am guilty of the same sin and show that person mercy.

【Prayer】Lord, how often have I forgotten my own sins and judged others! What I should do is not judge that person, but have compassion on them and love them.Lord, please help me not to judge others as if I were sinless myself, and help me to have compassion on them without forgetting that I, too, share the same weakness as those who sin. 🙏
