【信仰と忍耐 Faith and Endurance】

【御言葉】11 私たちが切望するのは、あなたがた一人ひとりが同じ熱心さを示して、最後まで私たちの希望について十分な確信を持ち続け、12 その結果、怠け者とならずに、信仰と忍耐によって約束のものを受け継ぐ人たちに倣う者となることです。ヘブル人への手紙 6章 11〜12節

【観察】神様はアブラハムに「あなたによって、多くの国民が祝福される」という約束を与えただけではなく、それに加えて、神ご自身をかける誓いをもって、その約束を確かなものとしてくださった。それと同様に私達信じる者が天国へ行けるという希望も確かなものなのだ。私達が天国へ行くのに必要なもの、それは信仰と忍耐である。信仰生活はイエス様を信じて終わりではなく、スタートであり、私達がこの地上の人生に別れを告げるまで続くものだ。だから、信仰だけでなく、忍耐も必要なのだ。

【適用】怠けることなく、死に至るまで、イエス様を信じ続ける。忍耐を求める。

【祈り】主よ、あなたによって、私が天国へ行けることに感謝します。主よ、私が怠けることなく、あなたの約束を死に至るまで信じ続けられますように。🙏

【Scripture】Hebrews 6:11-12 NIV[11] We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. [12] We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

【Observation】God not only gave Abraham the promise that “through you, many nations will be blessed,” but He also confirmed that promise with an oath, pledging Himself as the guarantor. In the same way, the hope that we believers will go to heaven is also certain. What we need to go to heaven is faith and endurance. The life of faith does not end with believing in Jesus; it is the beginning, and it continues until we bid farewell to our life on this earth. That is why we need not only faith but also perseverance.

【Application】I will continue to believe in Jesus without growing weary, until the day I die. I ask for perseverance.

【Prayer】Lord, I thank You that through You, I can go to heaven. Lord, please help me to continue believing in Your promise without growing weary, until the day I die. 🙏
