【私は満ち足りている I Am Content】

【御言葉】6 しかし、満ち足りる心を伴う敬虔こそが、大きな利益を得る道です。9 金持ちになりたがる人たちは、誘惑と罠と、また人を滅びと破滅に沈める、愚かで有害な多くの欲望に陥ります。テモテへの手紙第一 6章 6, 9節

【観察】聖書ではお金持ちになれば、自分で誘惑を招き、満ち足りることの方が益であると教えてくれている。この世界では、多くの人達がお金持ちになりたいと願う。お金は使うもので、愛すべきものではない。愛すべきものは神と人である。食べる物と衣服があれば、十分なのだ。

【適用】「自分は足りない」というは嘘であり、私は神にあって、満ち足りていることに感謝する。

【祈り】主よ、私は満ち足りています。私の欲はいつも何かが足りないと言いますが、それは嘘です。私には食べる物があり、着られないほどの服があります。私はあなたにあって、満ち足りていることに感謝します。神様、ありがとう！🙏

【Scripture】1 Timothy 6:6, 9 NIV[6] But godliness with contentment is great gain. [9] Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.

【Observation】The Bible teaches that becoming wealthy invites temptation, and that contentment is more beneficial. In this world, many people long to be rich. Money is something to be used, not something to be loved. What we should love is God and our fellow human beings. Having food and clothing is enough.

【Application】Saying “I don’t have enough” is a lie; I am grateful that I am content in God.

【Prayer】Lord, I am content. My desires always tell me that something is enough, but that is a lie.I have food to eat and more clothes than I can wear. I am grateful that I am content in You. Thank You, God! 🙏
